This progressive State Government department based in Adelaide; South Australia are seeking a Principal Communications Lead. **Your new role**

In this temporary role, which is expected to last for 2 months, you will serve as the Departments Principal Communications Lead. Your duties will cover a broad spectrum, including media, strategic communications planning and execution, events management, and speech writing. This position will require you to be a multi-skilled individual who can seamlessly transition between tasks while maintaining a high standard of work. Your expertise will be essential in creating effective communication strategies, managing successful events, and crafting compelling speeches for various occasions.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you have experience in:

- A degree in Communications, Media, Public Relations or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, including media, communication strategy development, events management, and speech writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of social media and other digital platforms.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- The ability to commence work immediately.
- Please note, you must hold a valid national police clearance
