Your Role
At IAG, we're committed to helping communities prepare for and recover from disasters. As our new Community Impact Principal, within our Retail Insurance Australia (RIA) Division, you'll lead partnerships and programs that build resilience, drive climate preparedness, and connect our people to purpose.

It involves managing strategic partnerships, delivering initiatives like our Help Nation disaster readiness program, and communicating our impact, both internally and externally. It's a role for someone who's engaging, visible, and able to bring people along. Developing and delivering community initiatives and campaigns with partners, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration are all part of the day-to-day. The work is meaningful, the environment is flexible, and the impact is tangible.

This is a permanent full-time role with flexible working arrangements, open to candidates based in
Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) or Tarndanya (Adelaide).
About You
You're a strategic thinker and relationship builder with a passion for creating meaningful change. You bring:

  • Strong experience in strategic community partnership management, ideally with exposure to shared value thinking and cross-sector collaboration
  • Background in community engagement, social impact, corporate affairs, or sustainability
  • Passion for climate and disaster resilience (subject matter expertise is a bonus, not a must)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and program planning skills
  • Ability to measure and report on social and commercial outcomes
