We are currently looking for an experienced Events Officer to work with one of our valued clients.

Duties included:

- Lead and or support the end to end delivery of events and activations which includes scoping, planning, delivery and evaluation.
- Prepare speeches and marketing material to promote events and activation materials.
- Measure, monitor and evaluate event and activation performance inclusive of community feedback, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Leverage events, to increase the visibility, profile and reputation of the organisation.
- Partner and work with key stakeholders, including, but not limited to internal staff, Elected Members, clubs, organisations and groups within the community as required to plan and deliver events.
- Engage and work with suppliers to deliver cost effective events.
- Provide event management advice and build internal capability of event planning and delivery across the organisation.
- Work collaboratively with the broader team to brief and manage event and activation marketing and promotion.
- Lead or support on marketing and events team projects.
- Workplace policies, procedures and systems for risk identification, risk assessment, risk control, Injury management and workplace health and safety meet or exceed expected standards.
- All policies and procedures adopted by the City of Playford including the Worker Code of Conduct are complied with by self and team to expected standards.

NOTE: Out of hours work will be required including weekends and Public Holidays.
