**Your new company**
This Government Authority is responsible for leading the tactical development of integrated strategies to support the development of young Australians. They are looking for a dynamic individual who has experience in event planning / management to join them for a short-term 1-2 week contract to support them in the lead up to an upcoming event.

**Your new role**
In your role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Planning event logistics
- Creating a functional floor plan
- Liaising with stall holders
- Managing Communications and promotional collateral
- Providing expertise to the broader team

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding time management skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multitask environment
- Previous event planning or event management experience
- A current DHS Working with Children’s Check
- Experience working in a public sector role highly advantageous
