Experienced Service Desk Team Lead needed in Brisbane

Hays Technology are proudly supporting a national Construction company to appoint a Service Desk Team Lead to their Brisbane Office. As the Service Desk Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their Service Desk and providing outstanding support to your team.
**Your new role**
As the Service Desk Team Lead, you will lead a team of 5 dedicated IT support professionals and oversee the delivery of technical support services across multiple locations throughout ANZ.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the service desk, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues and efficient handling of incidents and service requests within SLA's
- Development, training and performance management of the service desk team
- Analyse team performance and metrics and generate reports for the IT Group Manager
- Participating professionally and cohesively within a small, solution-focused team environment, managing shifting priorities effectively.
- Identify areas for Automation and develop solutions
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will have a customer-centric mindset and 3+ years' experience in a service desk lead or similar role within the mining, construction or civil industries, as well as:
- Experience with Freshservice ticketing system or similar
- Experience within a Hybrid cloud environment, Windows and O365
- ITIL V3 Certification
**This role is open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents as there is a need to work with Defence projects.**
