Thriving State Government Department on the hunt for a Service Desk Analyst for an initial 3-month contract.
**Your new company**
Hays have partnered with a thriving State Government Department to appoint an experienced Service Desk Analyst to an initial 3-month contract at the AO3 level.

**Your new role**
As the Service Desk Analyst, you'll hit the ground running in this department's busy support team to provide Level 1 and 2 support to a diverse range of end users. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining a Microsoft environment, supporting users across all things Active Directory, M365, Windows 10 etc.
- Assisting in project work as needed, with a variety of new and exciting tech being rolled out all the time

**What you'll need to succeed**
You'll be a warm, customer-focused Service Desk Analyst, with demonstrated experience in telephonic support. You'll have exceptional communication skills, while your technical skills and qualifications will include:

- Demonstrated working experience in supporting a Microsoft environment (Active Directory, M365 etc.)
- Demonstrated working experience supporting computer hardware and peripherals
- ITIL experience or qualification is advantageous, but not essential
