Finance Analyst role available with a Victorian Council

**Your new role**
- Assist in the completion of the Council’s statutory financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting functions within the required time frames and according to Legislative requirements, Australian Accounting Standards and Council policies.
- Manage the financial and accounting responsibilities of the Council, including financial modelling, cash flow management, and compliance with the applicable taxation and other financial policies and legislations, and deliver on key outcomes.
- Deliver a high level of service to internal and external customers and stakeholders, including provide advice to council to assist in the formulation and review of Council’s finance and accounting policies. Provide financial advice, assistance and training to other Council business units.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience and knowledge in utilise Oracle.
- Experience in Fixed Assets Accounting
- Experience in financial year-End processes
- Experience in account reconciliation
- High level of proficiency in Excel
- Experience in ATO reporting
- Preparation of financial reports
