This organisation is a reputable FMCG company operating in Australia for over 20 years. They are looking hire a Junior Finance Analyst/ Logistics Analyst, as they hope to facilitate and support your journey in this role.

**Your new role**
In your new role you will assist the Finance team delivering accurate and timely reporting of financial results and forecasts for the logistics and distribution functions within the business.

Ensure there is accurate reporting and clear communication between the Logistics team and the Finance team.

Some of your duties will include:

- Weekly reporting - Logistics
- EOM reporting and reconciliations - Logistics
- Provide assistance & back up around cashflow, budgeting & forecasts, capital, 5-year planning, and project related commercial analysis for the logistics and distribution functions.
- Highlight risks & opportunities giving the Logistics team clarity & direction relative to P&L targets.
- Work on strategic and continuous improvement projects within the Logistics team providing commercial analysis and recommendations based on historical performance data and potential future network changes.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role you will need:

- Accounting degree or diploma
- Understanding of the logistics and distribution functions within a business including key performance levers within warehousing and transport operations.
- Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to find a story in the numbers by interpreting data
- Ability to clearly communicate financial and commercial analysis to non-finance team members and lead the team to performance conclusions and next steps based on the analysis completed.
- Commercial experience within FMCG (2+ years)
- Commercial experience within a logistics department or with a third-party logistics provider
