Finance Analyst - WFH Flexibility - Temporary Job - CBD Location

This organisation is one of the largest owners, operators and developers of retirement living communities in Australia. They have an impressive portfolio of over 75 communities. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Finance Analyst to join their collaborative team.

In this role you will be joining the Retirement Assets team on a temporary basis with potential for a permanent role in the future. Reporting to the Senior Finance manager, you will be working closely with Finance services and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate recording of village management and development settlements and financial transactions.
Some of your duties may include:
- Settlement processing - settlement calculations, confirm settlement financial matters in their legal online system, general correspondence with stakeholders such as contract administrators, conveyancers, sales managers, amongst others.
- BAS reviews
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaise and provide support to internal legal team, village managers, regional finance and shared services
- Amongst other duties
**What you'll need to succeed**
- A relevant tertiary qualifications and technical post tertiary qualifications which include CA or CPA qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in contract administration, financial reporting, financial planning & analytics, or a related field.
- Fundamental knowledge of general accounting and financial reporting
- A team player, with excellent communication skills
- Experience in the property industry (desired)
- Experience using Oracle suite (desired)
**What you'll get in return**
This is approximately a 3-month temporary position with a chance of becoming permanent. You will be joining an exciting, growing company with a large, experienced finance team. You will benefit from an hourly rate of $40 (inclusive of super), a hybrid working arrangement (1 or 2 days in the office), and you will be based in a new modern office in the heart of Melbourne CBD.
