The purpose of the Product Owner role is to become the ‘glue’ between the customer, the business and the delivery team.

As a Digital Product Owner for the Digital Incubation & Growth team, you will relentlessly advocate for our customer, taking a whole of Bupa ‘customer journey’ mindset and collaborating across all market units to drive greater integration of the customer experience. This role is not just looking at the customer journey of today but thinking of the Bupa of tomorrow.

This role will ensure Bupa is building the right products and services and will work with the Digital Incubation & Growth Delivery Team to ensure we are building that product in the right way. This role will actively collaborate with development teams across the business and key stakeholders to make fast, local and empowered decisions.

About You

To be considered for this role you will have:

- Demonstrated experience working in an agile squad with a deep understanding of the end-to-end insights value chain.
- Experience working across multiple streams in a fast paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
- An analytical focus with an appreciation of data analysis, commercial drivers, business viability and technical feasibility.
- A tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) with Agile Product Owner qualifications/experience.
- Proven facilitation skills.
- A genuine passion and empathy for Bupa customers, with an understanding of their customer journeys and preferences.
- Expertise in modern forms of product planning, customer discovery, product discovery, and product development process and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and ambiguity, with ability to analyse information logically to make evidence-based decisions.
- Emotionally intelligent, strategic innovator with proven ability to influence all parts of the system required to create sustainable change, in order to see data as critical to our competitive advantage.
