Product Owner / Delivery Lead

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Contract: 6 Months (Possible Extension)

End Client: Leading Australian Bank

Role Overview:

We're looking for an experienced Product Owner / Delivery Lead with strong banking and payments background to lead delivery initiatives related to Australia's Fast Payments and PayTo Mandates.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end delivery for payment-related projects.

Work closely with business, technology, and external stakeholders.

Manage product backlog, priorities, and sprint delivery.

Ensure timely delivery of PayTo and Fast Payments initiatives.

Drive continuous improvement and manage key stakeholders effectively.

Key Skills & Experience:

Strong banking domain experience (mandatory).

Hands-on experience with Australia Fast Payments.

Deep knowledge of PayTo Mandates – essential for PayTo Receive delivery.

Proven delivery leadership experience.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience acting as both Product Owner and Delivery Lead.
