QinetiQ are looking for an experienced Inventory Coordinator with a strong knowledge of MILIS for a fixed term, fulltime opportunity in Graytown VIC.

Purpose of the role is to manage inventory to support trial requirements and coordinate with Purchasing for supply of identified procurement activities

In addition to the above, responsibilities will include;
Coordinate material movement between suppliers, warehouse and the other identified areas

Facilitate transmittal of supplier quotes to the capability or procurement team and manage shipment and delivery of

international orders; serve as key contact for supply enquiries

Maintain Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS) files

Maintain and update Objective files throughout the life of an activity

Set up, monitor and manage inventory accuracy

Support inventory checks to validate inventory Complete MILIS transactions in relation to goods receipting and delivery,

assisting workforce members with MILIS inquiries such as assisting to identify items via MILIS for procurement

Previous experience working in a similar role within a Defence or related organisation.

Solid experience using MILIS

Experience in handling, packing and receipting hazardous goods.

forklift Licence

Knowledge and experience in Just in Time deliverables

Ability to work within a team environment with multiple stakeholders, providing required outcomes under limited

supervision and the ability to mentor other staff.

Baseline security clearance
