**About the Role**

A permanent opportunity exists with Council’s Festivals and Events team for a **Festivals and Events Support Officer**. You will be working on Council’s award-winning events program, and also supporting the community’s events, working within a fast paced and deadline driven environment. With current conditions, it combines both working from home and office-based work arrangements. Well-developed communication skills will be highly regarded, along with a ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to work some weekends and evenings for events.

Reporting to the Coordinator Festivals and Events, the role will:

- Provide administrative and project support for major Council-led and community festivals and events.
- Respond to enquiries from both internal and external partners and community and corporate event organisers.
- Assist in festivals and events promotion including distribution of materials and social media.
- Work with other teams across Council to help facilitate high quality events, activities and festivals.
