The Human Resources Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall effectiveness and success of the Personalised Support Services operations across Melbourne. The primary purpose is to oversee recruitment processes for support workers, foster professional development initiatives as part of continuous improvement policies, maintain a positive team culture among office staff and manage incidents involving frontline staff, including disciplinary and grievance procedures. Additionally, the role involves active collaboration with management to update and recommend strategies that enhance service delivery outcomes organisation wide.

**Recruitment and Onboarding**:
Execute end-to-end recruitment processes for support workers.
Facilitate onboarding procedures to ensure smooth integration into the organisation.

**Professional Development**:
Design and implement professional development programs aligned with continuous improvement policies.
Identify training needs and opportunities for skill enhancement among staff.

**Team Culture Maintenance**:
Nurture and promote a positive team culture within the office staff.
Address employee concerns, fostering open communication and a collaborative work environment.

**Incident Management**:
Handle incidents involving frontline staff, initiating investigations when necessary.
Implement disciplinary and grievance procedures in accordance with company policies.

**Strategic Liaison with Management**:
Collaborate with management to update and recommend strategies for service delivery improvements.
Provide insights on HR-related matters that contribute to organisational growth and success.

**Policy Adherence**:
Ensure compliance with relevant HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
Regularly review and update HR policies to align with industry best practices.

**Documentation and Reporting**:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HR activities, including recruitment, training, and incidents.
Prepare and present reports to management, outlining key HR metrics and recommendations.

**Continuous Improvement**:
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for HR process enhancement.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to inform HR strategies.

**Employee Relations**:
Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting regular check-ins, and facilitating engagement initiatives.

**Collaboration and Communication**:
Collaborate with various departments to ensure HR strategies align with organisational goals.
Maintain effective communication channels to keep staff informed about HR-related matters.

Have an understanding of legislative, contractual and internal policy, practice and reporting requirements in the NDIS sector

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- Human resources management: 2 years (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Dandenong, VIC 3175 (required)

Ability to Relocate:
