- Clerk Grade 11/12 with a salary range of $145,378 - $168,130 per annum plus superannuation

**About the role**
The Associate Director People & Culture leads the agencies human resource and internal communications function, ensuring the successful implementation of strategic, people centric programs.
You will lead, coach and mentor senior leaders in relation to workforce trends, cultural workforce transformation, as well as establish frameworks and procedures that capture Destination NSW’s unique work environment.
Additionally, you will identify and lead the action plan from the People Matters Employee Survey into meaningful metrics to drive branch objectives, ensuring transparency, and foster alignment across the agency.
Within this role, you will engage with and leverage support from other People and Culture teams such as organisational development and health, safety and wellness, as well as specialist teams who carry out recruitment and general employment functions. The aim is to support a truly integrated and timely delivery of services for Destination NSW.

**About You**
You will have extensive experience as a trusted people and culture specialist. You have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of stakeholders to directly influence the effective resolution of complex people management matters in line with legislative requirements, and relevant policies and procedures.
Your experience in managing challenging issues across international jurisdictions will be highly regarded as well as your ability to develop strong relationships across diverse networks.
You are an experienced professional with a strong background in human resource (HR) business partnering and an understanding of international HR practices. With proven skills in change management, project management, strategic problem-solving, and communication, you are adept at driving business transformation and maturity uplift. You possess high level knowledge of the industry and excellent commercial acumen.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Employee Relations, other relevant field and/or extensive experience in human resources management and/or a combination of study and work experience will be required.

Spearheading a whole-of-government approach to visitor economy growth, Destination NSW influences and shapes the visitor economy through strategic research, policy and thought leadership, stakeholder engagement and consultation, commercial partnerships and investment in visitor experiences, business support, marketing and events.
Destination NSW is also the major investor in Business Events Sydney (BESydney) for the purpose of securing more international and domestic conventions, incentive travel reward programs, corporate events and exhibitions.
