**Cyber Security - Associate Director (GRC)**

Our client a renowned organization consistently recognized as one of the best companies to work for. As an Associate Director in Cyber Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the largest Cyber Security engagements across government and commercial clients, particularly in the Brisbane area. This role offers a significant chance to contribute to the definition, development, and implementation of Information Security projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess the effectiveness of security controls for various government systems, including standalone, deployed, strategic, and coalition networks.
- Provide security advice and guidance to stakeholders and customers by attending meetings and workshops as required.
- Lead and conduct Information Security compliance and maturity assessments.
- Identify, analyse, and implement Information Security processes and controls.
- Produce and present high-quality risk assessment reports, detailing security strengths and weaknesses, risks, effectiveness of implemented security controls, and recommended remediation activities.

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven experience as a Cyber Security practitioner with expertise in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
- Experience in Information Security domains, including Cyber Strategy & Architecture, Cyber Risk Management, Cyber Detection & Response, Cyber Threat Exposure Management, Identity, Access Management, Data Protection, Infrastructure Security, Privacy, Cyber Resilience, and Breach Support.
- Team management experience.
- Expertise in assessing and/or implementing security and risk standards, including ISM, DSPF, PSPF, NIST CSF, ISO 27001-2, PCI DSS, ITIL, COBIT, AS/NZS 4360, CPS234.
- Experience in writing comprehensive risk assessment reports and briefs for senior executives.
- Strong program/project delivery background, especially on major security uplift programs.
