To be considered for this role you will need to be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.

As a Grants Officer you will play a pivotal role in supporting the departments' mission to facilitate funding opportunities and drive positive outcomes for their stakeholders.

This is a great opportunity to be involved in a new taskforce to oversee the development and execution of grants management for the sector. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Administration and management of successful grants
- Drafting Request For Quote and Requirements documents
**What you'll need to succeed**
Leveraging your extensive experience within the Federal Government, your exceptional expertise will be instrumental in achieving success. Your proven proficiency in the following domains will be highly regarded:
- Demonstrated experience in grants management within a government framework
- An understanding of the department’s financial framework including Accountable Authority Instructions
- Strong knowledge of grant funding processes, policies, and guidelines
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to provide advice and support to internal and external partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
