The Department is seeking an experienced APS5 Program Support Officer to work to deliver affordable wellbeing for all Australians now and for future generations.

**Your new role**

Your new role as a program officer is a diverse role that would benefit applicants looking to build upon their experience in standard procedures, administration, data entry, secretariat, knowledge of grants, and greater familiarity within the APS.

Your primary responsibilities are:

- Assisting with program delivery and communication
- Providing policy advice and maintain program guidelines
- Building working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of project communications in accordance with communication, change and engagement plans
- Providing secretarial support
- Assist with drafting briefing materials and reports
