**APS5 / 6 Financial Policy Officer**

**Your new company**
You will be working within the defence portfolio to support the review of financial processes and procedures to support with the continuous development of ADF.

**Your new role**
You will be required to join a large team and have to work collaboratively toward common goals. Your duties may include but will not be limited too;
- Provide strategic advice that aligns with the PGPA to influence and implement change to the financial frameworks.
- Work on sensitive projects and ensure the implementation of financial policy is maintained to the guidelines.
- Collaborate and work within a team to provide critical advice with rapid changing priorities whilst maintaining working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Support the development of financial frameworks to ensure the department is inline with Government legislation.
- Assist with ensuring grants are managed and kept within the guidelines with processes complying to frameworks and legislation.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You'll be someone who has experience working within the financial frameworks, with an in-depth understanding of PGPA. You'll be passionate in working with change and implementing change, who is dedicated to developing new skills to enhance your career.

**What you'll get in return**
You will be working within a supportive team that holds collaboration as the driving glue to their culture. You will get a 12 month NOG contract with view to permanency or an S26 transfer. WFH arrangements can be agreed after commencement period.
