This high-profile Federal Government department is seeking APS5 & APS6 Grant Assessors and EL1 Program Administration Officers to join two sections managing high-profile grant programs for State and Territories from an election commitment due to an increase in the workload.

Your new role

As a Grant Assessor or Program Administration Officer, your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

APS5 or APS6 Grant Assessor

  • Assess grant applications.
  • Manage project variations and payments.
  • Support the delivery of contracted projects.
  • Work closely with team leaders to ensure accuracy and compliance.

EL1 Program Administration Officer
- Lead a team of staff.
- Manage grant processes.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Provide quality assurance, exercise delegation and support strategic program delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in your new roles, you will have previous experience in a similar role and in the Federal Government (APS). You will also have strong grants management and assessment experience, excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, clear written and verbal communication, the ability to manage competing priorities and strong judgement.

To be considered for this role, you will need to be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance at the baseline level or higher.
