**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Deputy GM, We seek an experienced purchaser of food / dry goods with great attention to detail to join our Head Office & warehouse team. Monday to Friday hours, with flexibility to suit family needs. Experienced in working as part of a team in a wholesale, retail or hotel procurement environment will be useful, as will working with the business software program ''Jiwa'', although not vital.

**YOUR DAY TO DAY**
- Assist the Product & Sales teams in the timely purchasing of local (Australia) products through the analysis of sales data to inform purchasing decisions.
- Ordering stock, receipting goods inwards, following up supplier queries, searching for the source of new or substitute products.
- Ensure that stock in store is rotated, first in first out, and monitored for expiry.

**A BIT ABOUT YOU**
- You enjoy working in a warehouse team
- Experience in food wholesaling or procurement in a retail or hospitality an advantage
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Experienced MS Office skills and confident working with business software programs on the inventory and purchasing side.
- Proactive and a problem-solver.
