**The opportunity**

The Digital Services team is the provider of all digital capabilities to the Silverchain Group. This spans the technology streams of Architecture, Cyber Security, Development and Operations and is complemented by the equally important streams of Clinical Informatics and Engagement and Digital Delivery. The Digital Services team provide harmonised and streamlined capabilities to the business users across all of these streams in a DevOps Plan, Build, Run operating model.

Silverchain is currently committed to a significant digital strategy that will see workloads and capabilities transition to being delivered through contemporary cloud-based systems. This transition is well underway with initial large-scale deliveries for the Finance and People and Culture teams nearing completion. Work is now commencing on moving key Client and Care systems to the cloud and the User Experience Lead role is key to this work.

Digital Services, on behalf of Silverchain, is a strong Microsoft partner and is committed to delivering new solutions in the Microsoft stack wherever possible. This is demonstrated through the extensive use of Azure workloads, and in particular the Azure Data Services and Azure Integration Services, Office 365, the Power Platform and SharePoint Online.

**Key responsibilities**

The User Experience Lead is responsible for delivering a consistent and seamless user experience, using industry best practice tools, techniques and processes, across all of the Digital development portfolio to create end to end journeys that delight users, customers and partners. Working closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders across the Digital Services team and the broader business, this role will lead the design and implementation of user experience and will ensure it is considered through the entire DevOps pipeline and across the breadth of all developed solutions.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrable experience of leading and delivering user experience
- Practical experience of creating prototypes, wireframes, user flows, mock-ups
- History of leading user experience research and testing
- Knowledge of how to deliver an information architecture / minimum data set through user experience design
- Experience of managing user experience across the full development lifecycle
- Experience with Lean and Agile delivery frameworks, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Proactive, solutions-focused attitude with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- Sound negotiating and influencing skills to guide stakeholders in their understanding of user experience considerations
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively, utilising best practice methods where possible
- Well-developed communication
- Experience of delivering user experience within the healthcare sector is highly desirable
- Recent experience of delivering solutions using the Microsoft toolset, ideally Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Office 365 and the Power Platform, is highly desirable
