In this permanent position working within our small HR team your friendly demeanor and strong work ethic will be highly valued. To balance your personal and working life you will also experience the benefit of our hybrid work model. **Your role**: Working in a professional and friendly HR team reporting to the Head of HR your tasks will include: - Processing monthly and fortnightly payroll for approximately 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand; - Generating payroll and statistical reports to provide relevant information to management; - Preparing monthly remittances to authorities including PAYG, Superannuation, Child Care; - Responding to employee payroll enquiries; - Performing end of financial year payroll processing & reconciliations; - Providing interpretation and counsel to Line Managers regarding company policies, programs & practices; - Assisting in the management and maintenance of the HRIS; - Undertaking HR projects as required, which may include salary benchmarking, employee benefits. **Who you are**: - Relevant experience or a tertiary qualification in a related field; - Demonstrated end-to-end payroll experience working within a medium to large organisation; - Experience working with a payroll software system (preferred MicrOpay Meridian); - Ability to build constructive relationships with a wide range of people across an organisation; - Sound working knowledge of current modern Awards and industrial relations legislation for Australia; - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex payroll concepts; - Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel. **Who we are**: **Benefits for you**: Join the Dräger team to help improve lives of both our customers and our company and in turn we will provide you with: - an attractive remuneration package; - an annual bonus; - a laptop - excellent on the job training; - a supportive company culture which supports career & professional development; - Employee Assistance Program; - and other benefits that you would expect from a global leader. **Upload your Resume and a Cover Letter telling us what your salary expectations are** A Police Check will be required for this position.
