APG Workforce are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join our client Baiada Steggles based in Pendle Hill.

**Key Duties**:
**Time and Attendance**
- Preparation of weekly timesheets, including Kronos manipulations and running Kronos reports for the business to allow the approval of the timesheets to meet payroll processing.
- Interpreting awards and Enterprise Agreements to ensure that employees are paid correctly.
- Preparation of manual time and attendance adjustments, including allowances and leave payments.
- Act as a point of contact and respond to payroll enquiries in a timely and accurate manner, escalating matters as required.
- Assist with training Supervisors and Managers on how to better utilise the Kronos System

**Payroll**
- Maintain confidentiality of all payroll related data and ensure that no information is accessible or obtain by any person without the correct authority levels.
- Preparation of weekly payrolls, including Kronos manipulations and downloading of Kronos into the payroll system and processing of payrolls. Ensure that all employees receive their pay slip notices within the legislative timeframe.
- Interpreting awards and Enterprise Agreements to ensure that employees are paid correctly.
- Preparation of manual payroll adjustments and payments (E-pays), including termination payments. Provision of appropriate payroll data for reporting to internal and external stakeholders as required, including delivery of KPI’s.
- Timely payment of all payroll related deductions to the appropriate authorities and organizations.

**Critical Skills and Experience Required**
- Intermediate proficiency on Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Awards
- Knowledge of payroll taxation laws and legislative obligations etc.
- Knowledge of current payroll systems
- Strong numeracy skills
- High level of attention to detail
