Play a pivotal role in accelerating our organisational focus on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), enabling an inclusive workplace which supports the growth of our most important asset, our people.
This part time role could be based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth or Auckland.
In this role you will:
- Lead the development and steward implementation of Penske ANZ's DEI strategic priorities.
- Identify external trends and advocate best practices that can be adopted to expand our talent pool and improve our diversity to reflect the communities within which we operate.
- Integrate numerous DEI efforts already underway into a broader DEI strategy.
- Build and report meaningful DEI statistics/KPIs (leading and lagging) - agreeing actions to respond to opportunities.
- Identify training needs and coordinate deployment of programs that support an inclusive workplace.
- Partner with policy owners/stakeholders to review workplace policies and procedures, ensuring that they enable us to build and maintain an inclusive workplace.
- Partner with recruitment stakeholders to create a brand that appeals to a diverse and wide talent pool of applicants.
- Steward the DEI strategic plan with the Executive Leadership Team.
- Coordinate DEI regulatory compliance (i.e. WGEA) and look for positive opportunities to raise our brand through employer of choice awards/accreditations.
**About you**:
- The role requires energy, passion, curiosity, and ambition to drive DEI improvement across the Penske ANZ business.
- Preferably specialist or centre of excellence experience with a direct or indirect exposure to DEI initiatives, programs, or responsibilities.
- Organization Development or HR Business Partner experience across a range of industry sectors and/or job families is desired.
- Experiences such as Line Management, leading Diversity Committees, Program and/or Project Management in environments with senior stakeholders are also advantageous.
- Strong influencing (with and without authority), stakeholder communication and engagement skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage expertise to design and deploy impactful people solutions.
- Experience in program/project management and leading multi-functional project teams.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability.
- Proficient working knowledge of HRIS (i.e. Chris21) and Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
