This role is a critical next addition to our high achieving national D&I Team and that’s why we are seeking a passionate, driven, experienced and motivated inclusion ambassador to help drive our ongoing success.

Reporting to the General Manager of Diversity & Inclusion, this position can be based in either Sydney or Brisbane supporting programs across the country, both remotely and in person with travel required predominantly on the East Coast with overnight interstate travel required at times.

**The Position**

As the **Diversity & Inclusion Manager **you will work with our internal Diversity & Inclusion teams, external stakeholders, and internal teams to develop and rollout innovative and impactful projects, D&I plans and initiatives that align with our business objectives. You’ll partner with various stakeholders to design, coordinate, roll out and measure our D&I initiatives, focusing on driving the adoption of corporate-wide programs across our organisation.
- Lead the implementation, stakeholder engagement, evaluation and reporting for a variety of key Diversity Projects across our business and in line with our KPI’s
- Promote our diversity initiatives to clients, management and employees of Compass Group through internal and external communication avenues, such as Yammer, social media and contributions to quarterly business reviews.
- Coordinate and or facilitate appropriate training to support a culture of inclusion and the smooth implementation of programs across the business with a focus on Indigenous Engagement, Gender Equity, Disability and LGBTQ+ awareness.
- Act as a key representative and advocated for Compass Group when networking with external networks including Peak bodies, EEO groups and forums (including public speaking)
- Source and coordinate resource and funding to develop and implement collaborative D&I initiatives, projects and activities.

**The Person**

This position would best suit a strong projects leader with sound experience in the D&I space. Specific experience relating to our 4 key pillars would be ideal Success would come from exceptional project management skills, a high level of resilience and personal motivation and the confidence and ability to influence and engage a variety of stakeholders across a geographically dispersed, matrix organisation.
- An understanding Diversity and Inclusion and designated EEO Groups
- Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and ability to clearly formulate areas of strength, development and associated recommendations
- Understanding of Indigenous culture
- Experience effectively partnering with People business teams to build effective HR or talent programs and strategies
- Ability to motivate, influence and optimise senior leadership, stakeholders and peer groups
- Influence others to achieve solutions to meet organization’s objectives, and is proactive in providing solutions, resolving issues and overcoming hurdles to results. Effectively collaborates with partners to resolve.
