**About you**

As our
**Team Leader Web Services**, you will lead a web services team to develop, update and maintain the RACGP’s online resources and contribute to the accessibility of knowledge and information that RACGP’s members use in their profession.

You’ll also demonstrate:

- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant industry specific experience
- Previous experience providing constructive advice on the writing of content for online consumption/delivery.
- Previous experience leading / supervising a small team of web content administrators and UI/UX designer
- Highly developed knowledge of and experience using web development software, CSS, HTML, content management systems, image manipulation and editing
- Exceptional listening and communication skills across all levels of internal and external stakeholders
- Dependable handling of confidential data, managing security, abiding by privacy regulations
- Absolute accuracy and attention to detail

**About the opportunity**

Reporting to the
**_Head of Strategy and Architecture, _**you will work in a modern technology stack and align with industry standard deployment best practice and participate in our agile delivery practice working closely with our development and testing teams to efficiently complete backlog requests and project activities enabling high quality business outcomes.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Lead the web services team and oversee the planning, development and implementation of content across RACGP websites, aligning to the College’s digital, marketing and content strategies
- Consult the marketing and IT teams to review and maintain standards for digital branding, style guides and success measurement to support the business action plan
- Manage content update prioritisation, provide guidance on User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) best practice, including setting standards for websites and accessibility.
- Lead the creation of unique, simple-to-understand, and user-friendly content using best practice Search Engine Optimisation(SEO) techniques
- Implement standards and meeting compliance for websites i.e. accessibility - WCAG “AA” standard and best practice for mobile responsiveness to meet member experience expectations: anywhere, anytime, and on any device
- Use data intelligence tools and A/B testing to collect member feedback to continuously improve the member experience by providing user-friendly products that meet members’ needs
- Review and provide feedback on content related to web applicability and accessibility.
