This organisation is a reputable manufacturing company operating in Australia for over 20 years. They are looking for a Shared Services Manager to join their growing, collaborative team.
**Your new role**
In this role you will be responsible for managing a team covering Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Claims.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Oversee the AP, AR, and Claims functions
- Ensure appropriate separation of duties in the Finance Shared Services team
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to identify and resolve control weaknesses or improvements
- Act as a key Business Partner across the business
- Promote a customer-first culture in managing the operational and commercial relationship with all shared services customers and external service providers
- Support with cash flow insights
- Manage and evaluate team performance and facilitate ongoing professional development
- Lead and implement a culture of innovation, service excellence, performance and safety, including investigating ways to improve effectiveness by utilising technology and automation
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Accounting qualified (preferred but not essential)
- Prior experience in implementing and optimising shared services functions
- Knowledge of SAP Business One (preferred), or experience & adaptability with other ERP software systems
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
