The Payments Australia team is responsible for the monitoring and processing of all CFD client deposits and withdrawals across various payment channels. They are also responsible for ensuring all other payment related functions run smoothly and effectively. All team members will build strong rapport with internal support and client facing teams, and strong communication skills are required to deal with day to day enquiries and tasks. The main focus of this role will be to support the CFD business for all payment related matters across AU, NZ, Asia and Partner clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process all daily deposits across various payment channels prior to local market open times
- Process all daily client withdrawals in line with local cut off times
- Investigate and complete all pending withdrawal alerts and ensure timely and accurate escalations for resolution
- Provide all internal teams with best-practice payments support
- Identify and implement process improvements across all payment functions, including process automation
- Investigate and resolve all Daily Bank Reconciliation Breaks, as well as resolve all client payment queries and complaints in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure return to source requests are promptly initiated
- Develop and maintain credible and sustainable relationships with external clients (i.e. banks, third party payment providers)
- Assist in maintain strong internal controls around payment alerts and fraudulent transactions

Key skills & Experience
- High attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as experience with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team, and maintain strong internal and external working relationships
- Proven track record of meeting tight time frames in a fast and efficient manner
- Identifying process and system improvements, including specific tasks that need changing and articulating the requirements to a manager or business development analyst
- Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the finance industry, investment markets, CMC products and systems, administration and compliance processes related to the processing of payments
