We are currently seeking an experienced Event Coordinator for our waterside event venues on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The role will see you organising + managing events from the initial enquiry, through to the event day and follow up of event.

Key responsibilities include:
Providing a positive guest experience for current booked events
Ensuring a smooth delivery of the event from initial enquiry through to event follow up
Primary contact for guests during the enquiry process
Meeting with potential event guests + day to day communication with all booked guests
Planning events with attention to guest’s financial and time restraints
Preparing + manage billing, invoicing and payment acquisition in an organised + timely manner
Communicating all event details with operations and kitchen team
Managing external suppliers
Working within the events e.g. event set-up, serving guests, resolving any issues or complaints
Leading team during events and delegating to team members, ensuring the event runs smoothly
Creating life long Boathouse guests
Upholding the values, vision and mission of the company
Continually strive to develop and maintain knowledge of event industry trends
Maintain efficiency and quality of work with a positive work ethic
Contribute to be part of a positive team culture
Ensure open communication with team and guests
Hold a current RSA
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
Have punctual attendance to all shifts
At least 2 years experience working within weddings + events.
