Job Description
Do you have a passion for creating unforgettable experiences? Join our vibrant and dynamic team as an Event Planner and bring your creativity, organisation and flair for detail to every occasion
This full-time role is responsible for meeting the needs of conference business and social events (including weddings) - from contracts to on-site management and post-event follow-up. You'll work closely with clients, coordinate every detail, and ensure each event runs seamlessly from start to finish.
You're a natural communicator with a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service. You thrive under pressure, think quickly on your feet, and take pride in delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with a variety of clients while maintaining strong, ongoing relationships
- Show exceptional attention to detail to deliver outstanding results and create unforgettable experiences
- Demonstrate success in delivering seamless events from planning to execution, ensuring everything runs smoothly
- Provide timely, professional, and effective communication to clients at all times
- Prepare and deliver proposals, contracts, and event orders for operational teams to ensure accurate and efficient event delivery
- Conduct thorough event planning through to completion, including post-event follow-up and feedback
- Ensure invoicing and accounts payable processes are completed accurately and on time
- Collaborate effectively as a team player to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional service
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in the hotel or events industry
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for delivering events that exceed client expectations
- Positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to achieving outstanding results
- Excellent telephone etiquette and email communication skills, maintaining professional and friendly relationships with clients and colleagues
- Proven track record of successfully managing events from contract signing through to flawless execution
- Skilled in conducting site inspections and familiarisation tours with new and existing clients
- Outstanding organisational abilities with the capacity to juggle multiple clients and event details simultaneously
- Strong computer proficiency and administrative skills
- Genuine passion for hospitality, events, and creating memorable experiences
- Warm, personable, and professional demeanor with meticulous attention to detail
- Quick thinker who remains calm under pressure and handles challenges with ease
- Reliable, energetic, and collaborative team player with a mature mindset and strong work ethic
