Northern Beaches location - either Whale Beach or Manly

This is a newly created role and will assist the People and Culture Manager with day-to-day people activities and support the implementation and coordination of a range of exciting People and Culture projects and frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

- Support P&C Manager with the implementation of P&C projects, frameworks and calendar events
- Coordinate recruitment and selection processes, including the preparation of advertisements, reference checks, employment contracts and relevant documentation including processing visa’s and right to work checks
- Support onboarding of new team members and liaise with payroll to ensure the timely setup of new employees
- Provide support to the P&C Manager in relation to employment relations matters and advice to team members and Managers on HR policy and process requirements
- Conduct exit interviews, and use feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
- Assists People & Culture Manager in the review process, preparation and administration of salary review program including salary benchmarking
- Coordinate training sessions and administer training records
- Maintain current, accurate and confidential employee records, HR Information database, organisational chart. Conduct HR reporting as directed.
- Coordinate P&C policy and procedure review processes and ensure policies and forms are updated to support currency and legislative compliance.
- Implement and coordinate Work Health and Safety programs, Workers Compensation and Return to Work Plans in line with Work Health & Safety Acts and Regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Australian workplace legislation by keeping up to date with relevant legislations such as the Fair Work and Work Health & Safety Acts

Ideally you have at least 3 years experience in a HR Coordinator and/or HR Advisor role. You have great relationship building skills, are highly organised with great attention to detail and MS Office skills.
