The Role

The
Finance Coordinator
will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of REVL Holdings Pty Ltd and its associated entities across all markets. This role ensures the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of financial processes, directly supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of the business. Operating within the fitness and franchising industry, the Finance Coordinator will work closely with REVL's accountants, Finance Manager, CEO, and other internal stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting, maintain cash flow efficiency, and support studio performance. The role will also adapt to the needs of the business as it expands into new markets and launches new initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Financial Transactions & Reporting

  • Process all payables and receivables, ensuring payments are made before due dates and aged debts are followed up promptly.
  • Prepare monthly management reports in collaboration with REVL's accounting team, ensuring accuracy and detail.
  • Reconcile revenue, accounts, and payment platforms (including Ezypay) weekly.
  • Complete month-end closing activities (invoices, stock reports, credit card reconciliations, subscription payments) by COB Day 5 of the following month.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of quarterly Franchise P&L accounts by liaising with the Operations Manager and franchisees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Develop and manage P&Ls for events and conferences in collaboration with the Operations and Marketing teams, ensuring accurate modelling of projected revenues and costs.
  • Support year-end audit preparation by providing accurate and complete documentation.

2. Payroll & Employee Onboarding

  • Finalise new employee contracts, upload documents to HR platforms, and ensure onboarding requirements are complete.
  • Coordinate IT and system access for new hires to ensure readiness prior to start date.
  • Prepare payroll files for CEO review prior to processing.
  • Execute fortnightly payroll, including wages, allowances, deductions, and superannuation submissions, in compliance with legislation.
  • Set up and authorise bank transfers for payroll, ensuring accuracy.
  • Respond promptly to payroll queries and prepare ad hoc payroll reports when required.

3. Administrative & Cross-Department Support

  • Liaise with the Accounts and Admin Coordinator to ensure smooth daily office operations.
  • Provide back-up support to other HQ functions during peak periods or absences.
  • Assist with internal communications, data entry, record maintenance, and event coordination.
  • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and brand events to remain engaged with company culture and values.
  • Provide operational feedback on studio performance, service quality, and brand standards.

4. Compliance & Confidentiality

  • Ensure all financial processes comply with Australian accounting standards, taxation
  • requirements, superannuation obligations, and Fair Work employment laws.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of company, employee, and franchisee financial and personal data.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Timely Payment Processing: 100% of weekly/ad-hoc payments processed before due dates, including clearing aged creditors and collecting aged debtors.
  • Inbox Management: Accounts inbox monitored daily with all emails actioned within 1 business day and 0 backlog by COB Friday.
  • Month-End Reporting: 100% completion of month-end tasks (invoices, reconciliations, stock reports, credit cards, subscriptions) by COB Day 5.
  • Franchise P&L Reporting: 100% of quarterly franchise P&L accounts collected, reviewed, and submitted by COB Day 10 post-quarter end, with no material errors requiring resubmission.
  • Event & Conference P&L Modelling: 100% of event/conference P&L templates prepared and finalised at least 4 weeks prior to event date, with reconciling against budget post-event.
  • Board Reporting: Monthly financial schedules and Board report drafts reviewed with Finance Manager, accounting team, and CEO by Week 3.
  • Audit Support: All audit queries answered within agreed timelines with complete documentation.
  • Payroll Accuracy & Timeliness: 100% accurate payroll processed fortnightly with zero errors, reviewed by CEO prior to release.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, including chart of accounts and general ledger functions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong confidentiality skills.
  • Experience in database management and high technical proficiency.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (XERO preferred).
  • A Passion for Fitness

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in multi-site or franchising operations.
  • Knowledge of fitness, wellness, or lifestyle content
  • Familiarity with the fitness or training industry
