Confluence Water, the Ventia, Downer and Jacobs joint venture, is one of three consortia delivering services under Sydney Water’s Partnering for Success program. Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water’s North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.
We have an opportunity for an **Project Administrator** to take responsibility for various aspects of project and stakeholder support around many of our construction and maintenance projects in partnership with Sydney Water. In this key role you will be based at our Chatswood Head Office and will go out to the various Sydney Water sites occasionally and liaise directly with the PM's and Supervisors on Site. The nature of this role is extremely varied and includes working alongside the Construction Lead in a support and coordination role across a number of projects. We are two years in to a 10 year program of works so you will enjoy stability, growth and career opportunities.
**THE ROLE**
- Work closely with a Senior Manager on managing documents relating to Construction and Maintenence projects
- Main point of contact for the team
- Support the coordination of company procedures such as Recruitment, onboarding activities, probation, off-boarding etc.
- Providing Administrative support across several departments within the Company as required
- Manage purchases and credit card reconciliation
- Review and update existing documents and spreadsheets.
- Timesheets auditing and approval
- Develop, implement and improve current financial procedures as directed by Construction Lead
**ABOUT YOU**
- Have the ability to prioritise competing demands and manage your time effectively
- Have a minimum 3 years’ experience in a varied adminstation support role - ideally in Construction
- Ability to work autonomously and use initiative
- Able to cope within a fast-paced growing company
- Current Driver’s License
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- A minimum of 3 years Project Administrative experience
- Experience working with the following systems: Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, SAP
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders, managers, employees and contractors
- Prove ability to multi-task, improvise and adapt quickly by thinking on your feet and adhere to deadlines
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Be skilled in Microsoft Excel and data entry
