**ACAP,** The Australian College of Applied Professions, is Australia's leading independent provider of tertiary education, delivering accredited courses in psychology, counselling, coaching, criminology, social work, law, and business management and leadership (MBA).
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organised **National Manager: Sessional Administration Hub** to join our team. This role works closely in supporting the Director of Engagement in managing the Sessional Administration Hub, providing pastoral care and administration support for sessional academics.
The National Manager is an integral member of a close-knit team, driven by a shared commitment to providing exceptional support and guidance to sessional academics, empowering them to contribute to the growth and development of future professionals in their chosen fields of study.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Manage the Sessional Administration Hub to provide pastoral care and administration support for sessional academic
- Oversee the onboarding process and manage all sessional academics' HR requirements, including leave approval and timesheet approval
- Collaborate with the National Manager: Timetable Operations, to allocate workloads to sessional academics across all disciplines and campuses
- Work with the National Manager: Timetable Operations to provide accurate and accessible data to the HR team for creating teaching agreements and autopayments
- Provide accurate and accessible data regarding the workloads of sessional academic staff
**In addition to a student-first approach, it is essential you can demonstrate**:
- Previous experience in a managerial role, preferably in an academic or educational setting
- Strong understanding of HR processes, including leave management and timesheet approvals
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with student management systems and complex databases
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data management
- Track record of maintaining confidentiality and privacy in handling sensitive information
