Contribute towards APRA’s role as a prudential regulator by supporting the delivery of major initiatives that are aligned to APRA’s corporate strategy.
- Play a key project governance role in supporting an exciting range of programs / projects such as Super Member Outcomes (including Your Future, Your Super), Modernising Prudential Architecture, Financial Accountability Regime (FAR), Data and Digital initiatives, Cyber resilience, and many others.

**The Role**
APRA is seeking an experienced PMO Manager to join their enterprise PMO. The role will provide support on all aspects of project management. This role reports into the Head of Project Delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- oversee and manage APRA’s project framework and methodologies.
- provide management, leadership and coaching to PMO staff.
- monitor and report on compliance with established project methodology to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
- actively contribute to the project stage-gate review process, project health checks and audits, providing recommendations for ongoing improvements.
- work closely with Strategy, Finance and Business teams in maturing APRA’s portfolio management capability and reporting.
- project management of small projects where required.

**The Team**
APRA’s Project Delivery team is part of the Enterprise Services Division (ESD). The team is comprised of Project Managers, Change Managers and PMO and are responsible for partnering with all divisions across APRA to deliver strategic initiatives and major projects.

**About you**
- 8+ years experience working in a PMO or Project Delivery Team, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
- project delivery background with at least 3 years experience as a Project Manager or equivalent role.
- experience working within complex environments in financial services.
- exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups.
- experience working in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments. Project Management certification (PMBOK/Prince2).
- strong leadership and motivation to drive the delivery of high-quality work.
