The roleThe Applications Manager is designated with responsibility for the day-to-day management of the monitored medicines database (QScript), Queensland Health's real-time prescription monitoring system, including the planning, development, installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of QScript. Key responsibilities include:

- Ensure the standardised processes as agreed by the relevant custodian(s) are implemented in relation to the QScript Application including Data access requests.
- Manage the contract arrangements and service liaison with the QScript vendor.
- Manage system access requests as per the relevant QScript guidelines and Queensland Health policy.
- Ensure relevant software licenses and contracts associated with QScript are appropriately managed and maintained.
- Coordinate acceptance testing for QScript fixes and enhancements and change requests.
- Ensure ICT service continuity plans are in place to address system availability and functionality requirements including disaster recovery arrangements, planned and unplanned system outages and testing.
- Manage reporting on QScript audit framework, including maintenance of and auditing the activities of QScript users, including internal regulator and external health practitioner users.

**The successful personYou will have**:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and promote Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes based on the ITIL framework, primarily incident / problem / change / release / configuration management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse activities and priorities across organisational boundaries to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people including senior business and technical stakeholders to make decisions.
