**Application Test Manager**:
**12-Month Contract | Hybrid (2-3 Days Onsite in Brisbane area)**

FinXL is currently seeking an experienced **Application Test Manager** to support a major utilities client on a long-term program of work. This role is suited to someone who has worked across complex enterprise environments and brings strong end-to-end testing leadership across multiple delivery streams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Define and update the testing strategy to ensure alignment with delivery and stakeholder expectations
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of FAT, SAT, and UAT test cycles
- Manage testing activities across multiple delivery streams, ensuring traceability and coverage
- Coordinate stakeholder input and review across all phases of testing, from strategy through to final reports
- Facilitate defect triage processes, manage reporting, and maintain testing dashboards
- Collaborate closely with SMEs, vendors, and business units to ensure quality outcomes
- Support entry/exit criteria, RPEQ reviews, and the development of test cases as required
- Produce formal end-of-cycle test reports and provide actionable insights

**Skills & Experience**:
**Essential**
- Strong experience leading testing teams across complex technology or operational environments
- Proven ability to deliver end-to-end testing strategies and execution across multiple streams
- Hands-on experience with test planning, defect management, and test reporting tools (e.g. JIRA)
- Ability to manage testing deliverables across stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams
- Deep understanding of test frameworks, traceability, and quality assurance processes
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate technical outcomes for stakeholders

**Desirable**
- Experience in the **energy or utilities sector**
- Exposure to **Operational Technology (OT)** environments or related systems
- Familiarity with the **national electricity market**, transmission/distribution systems, or related regulations
