**Your career in healthcare made**_personal_**
At Medibank we’ve recently unified our health services under one brand - **Amplar Health.**
With over 1000 employees, our nurses, GPs and other amazing allied health professionals our focus is on improving healthcare experiences and championing greater access, choice, and control for people in Australia when it comes to managing their health.
**The Opportunity**
At Amplar Health as part of the Medibank Group we are determined to actively engage 10 million people in improving their health by 2030.
As a Product Manager joining Amplar Health, you will contribute to this ambition by leading a portfolio of innovative preventative healthcare programs and pioneering our healthcare program lifecycle management - **strategy,** **design, implementation and optimisation**. Product ownership will include clinician-based, digital/virtual and hybrid preventative programs, many of which are unique to Australia as we lead the change for a stronger health system.
We are seeking a professional with a genuine passion for creating and maintaining best-in-class preventative health programs. You will have a broad range of experience in end-to-end health program management and health service design and implementation, including digital/virtual and clinician-based programs.
We focus on the people we are designing for at the heart of our processes, so experience in Human Centred Design (HCD) or a similar philosophy is a must.
**Your duties include**:
- Develop and execute an overall healthcare portfolio strategy, including a growth strategy, for both existing and new programs.
- Monitor and analyse regulatory and market developments to help manage the performance of our portfolio of propositions and the pipeline of new opportunities.
- Lead concept testing and user testing to validate and iterate propositions and prototypes - along with developing LEAN business cases, submitting for technology prioritisation and funding.
- Lead the design of new programs using Human Centred Design and LEAN principles (including engaging the clinical, technical and commercial elements)
- Coordinate our internal teams and external partners to lead the discovery, insights, concept development, build and launch of new propositions for products, customer engagement approaches and process improvement processes, including pricing recommendations and go-to-market.
- Lead the optimisation of existing programs using quality improvement principles in the context of continuous improvement.
- Maintain knowledge as the product expert on a portfolio of preventative health programs focused on chronic disease.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the broader market and new developments in digital health, chronic disease management, private health and public policy.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new product design and development processes for the Amplar Health Prevention Squad/Hub.
- Contribute to the growth and uptake of Amplar Health’s prevention programs to the Australian market
Here at Amplar Health we have a strong focus on health and wellbeing and empower our team to work flexibly, which means no mandated office attendance days. You can choose if your day is best spent working from home or the office - though we will need you to come in for special events and team days.
**What we need from you**:
First and foremost you will need to be genuinely passionate about improving outcomes across the health system by empowering customers with personalised, on-demand services and programs. You will be able to confidently partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes on time and within budget.
You will need to have extensive experience in managing, designing and delivering health programs and products and be comfortable in fast-paced environments, adeptly juggling multiple tasks and projects while meeting tight deadlines.
Demonstrated experience in either Human Centred Design, evidence-based medicine or public health is also essential. A natural people person, you will need to be great at building rapport and fostering communication with stakeholders at all levels.
**Inclusion and Accessibility**
Employees in face-to-face healthcare roles will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
