About the role:
Our Electrification & Innovation (E&I) business helps Australians transition to a cleaner energy future by rapidly developing sustainable electrification products. We invest in new ideas to create transformative solutions.

The Data Product Manager plays a crucial role in facilitating informed decision-making and improving efficiency across the E&I product portfolio by managing the team's data capabilities. This includes sourcing, cleaning, and analysing data, as well as automating data processes for Value Streams and other teams. The role involves collaborating with AGL stakeholders to access vital data, overseeing E&I’s data governance for compliance with Australian Data Protection laws, and managing the entire data product lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across multiple data system owners.- Maintain industry trends and identify external data sources that are useful to E&I.- Take ownership of all data governance and data management processes.- Effectively communicate insights to stakeholders and prepare presentations and dashboards for the E&I leadership team.- Ensure the accuracy, completeness and reliability of data. About you:
- Previous demonstrated experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Adobe Analytics and/or other reporting tools, with expertise integrating data from multiple platforms.- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including extract, transform and load processes.- Ability to distil new and evolving advanced data science concepts into meaningful opportunities to positively shape our product roadmaps- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to present and strongly communicate outcomes to non-technical individuals.- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
