**Head of Performance & Reward**

An opportunity to join Australia’s Bank of the Year as a member of the HR Leadership Team, will allow you to demonstrate your exemplary leadership, judgement, integrity, and results orientation to deliver exceptional employee experience. Reporting directly to our Executive Director of Human Resources, you will lead a small specialist team and play a key HR leadership and influencing role, in the strategy and implementation of performance and reward across ING Australia. Working closely with the Global performance & reward community of expertise (COE), as well as senior leaders and executives across the business, and the Board of Directors you are accountable for performance, remuneration and reward in Australia.

**What you’ll do**
- Design, implement and execute performance, remuneration and reward strategies that drive discretionary performance, employee engagement and attract and retain top talent in line with market expectations both now and into the future.
- Comply with regulatory and legislative obligations as specified by legislative Acts and regulatory bodies (including APRA)
- Develop succinct and professional presentations for our Executive Committee and Board of Directors and key stakeholders across the business (including the Board Remuneration and Nomination Committee)
- As the Office of the BEAR, the role is responsible for ensuring IBAL meets the requirements of the Banking Executive Accountability Regime
- Lead the annual remuneration and performance review processes in line with remuneration policy, directives, and budget, including Variable Remuneration funding.
- Provide advice and solutions including salary benchmarking, review, planning, market analysis and forecasting, modelling, job design and evaluation as needed.
- Lead the evolution of the benefits suite in collaboration with business heads and internal Human Resource COE
- Lead, and support the Performance and Reward Team and work effectively with global counterparts.

**What you’ll bring**
- Previous experience (remuneration leadership role) in a global and complex organisation designing, delivering and managing end to end performance, remuneration and reward strategies and frameworks.
- Experience/exposure in development and management of Variable Remuneration plans
- Demonstrated ability in the maintenance and improvement of Reward and Benefits processes (in particular remuneration reviews).
- Extensive experience with job evaluation methodology and familiarity with benchmarking tools
- Experience working in regulated environments and entities.
- Tertiary qualifications as well as Advanced MS Office skills including MS Excel
