About the role
What you need to know:
- Be part of a critical team responsible for the day-to-day management and monitoring of all tasks undertaken by offshore teams with regards to policy servicing.
- Address queries that pertain to product, system & transactions to ensure effective resolution within a timely manner.
- Act as the liaison between the profit centres, operations and the Shared Services team with regard to Underwriting administration tasks i.e. bookings, unallocated cash etc. This will involve managing escalations, feedback and requests.
- Participate in frequent meetings between parties to discuss performance, changes in process/systems, issues and other general feedback.
- Work within agreed decision-making standards, limitations, authorities and risk management responsibilities.
Quality, Monitoring and Process Monitoring
- Conduct Quality Assurance Audits on Client Policy Servicing in addition to the standard QA processes to ensure processes are being adhered to.
- Identify trends and opportunities for improvement, work with the teams to ensure plans to improve performance are communicated and implemented, and assist in developing training material where required.
- Review current processes to ensure continuous improvement and/or process optimization can be achieved to establish ‘best practice’ standards.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven administration experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent Computer Skills, with intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Adaptable & demonstrated experience in dealing with various stakeholders
- Analytical & problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well with others as well as work autonomously when required
- Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Understanding of the insurance industry & offshore processing centres beneficial
