The
**APS5 Finance Operations Officer** role reports to the EL1 Treasury and Accounts Team Leader within the Financial Service Branch and is responsible for:

- Accounts Receivable functions including arranging the creation of invoices, reviewing the daily debtors report and following up on outstanding debts.
- Accounts Payable functions including reviewing and approving of invoices against purchase orders, credit notes, assisting staff with purchasing and goods receipting processes.
- Reviewing and authorising the daily bank reconciliations, appropriations drawdowns and payment runs.
- Monitor and action the team’s functional mailbox.
- Perform travel duties as directed.
- Assist in the mentoring and training of new staff to build knowledge and capability.
- Reviewing the team’s periodic reconciliations and ensuring they are performed in a timely manner.
