**APS5 Finance Officer**

**Your new company**
Our client is a small statutory authority that operates as part of the Australian Government's development program and encourages Australia's scientists to use their skills in developing countries.

**Your new role**
Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Officer and Payroll Officer to assist in the corporate finance team. The role will be responsible for;
- payment of all accounts, credit card management, cash management and raising debtor invoices,
- preparation and processing of journals and CBMS entries,
- monitoring of bank account,
- assisting in developing and monitoring budgets,
- supporting the preparation of FBT and BAS statement,
- acting as payroll helpdesk and support for ESS.

**What you'll need to succeed**
Working as part of a small team you will need excellent communication and time management skills, experience using a large finance system and familiarity in an accounts processing role. Knowledge of payroll and employee entitlements will be looked upon favourably.

You must be an Australian citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a (Baseline, NV1 or NV2) personnel security clearance.
