**Group Reporting Manager
**About The Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Group Reporting Manager, to be part of our global finance division based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Finance Director, this position will be pivotal in preparing the Group’s financial statement and a timely delivery of the Group’s month end process. This role will also be responsible for drafting technical papers to ensure compliance with the relevant accounting standards. Great role for someone currently working as a Senior Accountant in a Group accounting function and now looking to take the next step in their career.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Providing support and guidance on all technical accounting matters and the associated implications for the Group.
- Accurate and timely preparation of the annual and half-year reporting process including the statutory reporting schedule.
- Central point of contact for all technical accounting advice across the Group.
- Responsible for the delivery of the group month-end process.
- Detailed review and analysis of all treasury and debt matters.
- Participate and manage yearly budgeting processes, including business partnering with various business units to develop and drive financial strategies.
- Manage dividend policy and distributions.
- Experience in developing policies and procedures and associated financial controls and preparing financial statements.
- Focus on process improvement and simplification matters.
- Management of external auditors. Mentoring and development of staff.

**About you**

CA/CPA qualified with strong financial reporting skill set gained within a global company, most likely in a Group head office position. You will have a high degree of financial acumen, attention to detail, exceptional writing skills, and a thorough understanding of the financial reporting process. You will also have:

- strong communication skills and the ability to engage with C level stakeholders and the leadership teams.
- proven ability and keen interest in developing, leading and motivating people.
- ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities. experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and prior involvement in an ERP upgrade which will be a great advantage.
