**The role**

We're looking for a motivated Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen teams. **This role is physically demanding, and includes large amounts of lifting throughout the day.**

**Skills and experience**

You’ll have:

- Experience working in industrial and/or restaurant kitchens
- A passion for food and kitchen operations
- Strong English skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and build an efficient team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership ability, approachability, and a reputation as a role model
- Characteristics reflective of FISHBOWL’s ethos: self-motivated, positivity, service-oriented, flexible, and ethical with a high degree of integrity.

**Your tasks**

You will:

- Supervise ingredient preparation in the kitchen
- Be conscientious and detail oriented
- Use our state of the art processing machines
- Ensure critical standards of product quality, daily food safety and sanitation
- Role model and reinforce FISHBOWL’s people and culture standards

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour
