We are looking for dynamic and customer-focused team members to join our team in the roles of Deli and Cafe Assistants.

**The Venue**

Located in the heart of Rosebery, DELI REPUBLIC is the combination of a traditional old-world deli and a modern bistro and situated within The Cannery complex, the hub of food, drinks and creative arts. It includes neighbours like The Red Spoon Co, Archie Rose, Black Star Pastry, Three Blue Ducks, Banh Xeo Bar and Gelato Messina.

Inspired by the Deli’s of New York our full deli counter will have a full range of small goods and cheese from the best local and international producers, antipasto, dips and fresh pasta. While the kitchen will be slinging everything from tasty Reubens, bagels and baked goods to limited casual diners and house-made condiments and sauces later in the year.

**The Opportunities**

We are looking for a talented front-of-house crew to help bring this vision to life and are in need of the following talented professionals:

- Deli Assistants - Cutting and serving a delicious selection of cheese, small goods and more at our deli counter.
- Cafe Assistants - Serving our amazing customers our Reubens and bagels.

**Requirements**:

- Passion and enthusiasm for good food and customer service with a good attitude and a willingness to learn
- Effective communication in a team environment and can follow directions and be part of a larger team
- Love to work under pressure in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Initiative-taking in problem-solving, time management and involvement in day-to-day operations
- Assist customers with orders and purchases in-store and over the phone as required
- Processes a variety of transactions accurately and efficiently via the point of sale system including, but not limited to, sales, returns, price checks and etc
- Maintain a clean environment.
- Fluency in English
- Reliability and punctuality with a high standard of personal presentation
- Background in food or hospitality is preferable
