**About the role**:
We are excited to be expanding our Sydney showroom and are looking for a Part-Time Sales Assistant and/or Design Consultant to assist our team for a few days per week (Sunday, Monday and maybe Saturday or another weekday depending on your circumstances). This position requires relationship-building skills, excellent communication skills, and the desire to inspire customers. This is an ideal position for an energetic, smart, motivated individual who is passionate about delivering creative solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations in a collaborative team environment.

**PURPOSE**:
The design consultant/salesperson is responsible for:

- Greeting clients and evaluating their needs.
- Work directly with customers, interior designers and contractors to create tile design solutions.
- Able to do various requests and inquiries from customers, vendors, and other team members.
- Taking payments and generating quotes for customers.
- Successfully meeting and exceeding company goals and objectives.
- .Help maintain the cleanliness and layout of the showroom.
- You will work with our valued customers who are seeking professional expert advice on tailored solutions

**Requirements**:

- Design Sales experience; home/bath/kitchen desirable but not a requirement
- Strong time management skills; ability to self-motivate; excellent organisational skills.
- Solid computer and systems skills
- Highly collaborative and team oriented; ability to be flexible in response to changing priorities and needs
- Knowledge in the tile/bathroom and design space is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
- Maintaining a professional and well-kept appearance is a must
- Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Able to work on Sunday, Monday and flexible with other days.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
