**How will I Help?**

This key role reports to the Audit Director for the Group Treasury portfolio, we are looking for an experienced and high-performing individual to further develop and embed our audit coverage of liquidity, non-traded IRRBB (Interest Rate Risk in Bank Book) and capital management activities at Westpac.

In this role you will:

- Plan, lead and execute audits and reviews covering the management of liquidity and capital adequacy risk management and associated processes
- Continuously monitor the activities of relevant business units and the evolving external and regulatory environment, and recommend adjustments to the audit plan
- Engage and collaborate with specialist resources from other Group Audit teams to achieve audit outcomes, including the model risk, data analytics and technology teams
- Directly engage with senior business and risk management stakeholders across the Westpac Group and attend relevant risk committees and steering committees as required.

As a senior member of the Treasury audit team, you will also be expected to:

- Lead by example and act in accordance with the Westpac Group’s Code of Conduct and Values
- Provide feedback, coaching and professional guidance to other members of the team
- Contribute to the development, and implementation of the Group Audit strategy
- Support responses to key regulators and the Westpac Group’s external auditor as required

**What do I need?**
- Experience in the management of liquidity, market risk or capital management processes in roles across the three lines of defence
- Exposure to managing compliance with prudential regulatory requirements and the Basel framework for managing liquidity, non-traded market risk and capital adequacy risks
- Effective influencing, networking, and relationship management skills, ideally with senior stakeholders
- Clear and succinct communication and writing skills; experience in executive/board committee report writing; an appreciation the big picture but with an eye for detail

The following training, knowledge or experience would also be desirable:

- Experience in conducting audits or assurance reviews, or managing projects
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent field
