Bid Manager will be key contributor to driving and delivering growth for our client on a range of wastewater treatment and remediation infrastructure solutions.

Our client is a leader in design, construction and operation of lower-energy wastewater treatment solutions for sewage, PFAS contamination, industrial wastewater, leachate, mining/resources and integrated water treatment. The company has an exciting future through implementing innovating approaches to wastewater treatment. Clients include recognised water authorities, local councils and private clients nationally.

This role will suit a technically astute professional motivated by a passion for environmental sustainability and understanding our customers’ needs, working in a supportive team to develop tailored and compelling proposals. You will be a key member of our pre-contracts team, assisting the pre-contracts manager by monitor external listings of tenders, shortlisting and recommending bid pursuits, preparing written responses and completing tender schedules, facilitating tender reviews, and compiling handover documentation for successful bids.

The Bid Manager will be motivated, innovative, and possess a customer focused ‘can do’ attitude to winning work. You will possess strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of seniority both within our team and with prospective clients.
- Experience of working in a bid team previously in contractor environments.
- Familiarity and experience in design, build and operate style contracts.
- Manage bid inputs from key stakeholders, typically technical experts, marketing, commercial and project management / delivery, crafting these into persuasive proposals that resonate with our clients.
- Work with the Pre-Contracts Manager to develop a clear win strategy for each bid and ensure win themes are clear and compelling.
- Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process.
- Established network of suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Qualifications in engineering, environment or construction is desired.
